Issa is strong and opinionated and unafraid to fight for what she believes in. She is on the Parkers Canyon High newspaper staff as a writer and takes an old-school journalistic approach to her work. She tries to find the hard truth and report on more pressing matters around town. If it isn’t backed up by facts, it isn’t good enough for Issa. She claims that she is a vegetarian, but she still eats chicken nuggets. She doesn’t believe in ghosts, or anything supernatural for that matter, as the facts simply aren’t there.
