Ryder is constantly on the move, never staying in one place due to his ravenous feeding tendencies. Although he is technically almost a century old, he never grew out of his teenage rebellion stage. In fact, he is a perpetual teen. He refuses to both settle down or take life seriously. He feels much more immortal than he actually is. Now, he has arrived in Parkers Canyon. However, he is interested in his studies and wants to keep his animalistic instincts under control. The only problem is that he hasn't been so great at that since the 30's.
