Rye came to face reality after the events of Prom Night, and he has decided to be a tad more serious about his actions. He is glad to be in Martin’s pack, but he is tired of being looked at as the underdog. He is somewhat determined to prove himself as a capable werewolf; he even fully supports Martin’s efforts at finding who shot Blaise, insisting that Martin is acting reasonably when Luke protests. He is still in Newspaper, but Martin is constantly dragging him away to discuss the missing gun. Still, Rye is trying to be supportive of his leader. Though, he comes to realize that is easier said than done.
