Luke is mostly ambivalent about the events of Prom, but he has kept a watchful eye on Martin. Luke likes to think of himself as loyal if anything else, but lately he has been doubting Martin’s leadership abilities. Martin is hard-pressed about finding Blaise’s killer, and Luke thinks it’s distracting him from everything else. He doesn’t think of himself as much of a leader; in fact, he thinks he’d be absolutely terrible at it. Still, he’s found himself trying to step up in Martin’s “absence” and calls Martin out on his problematic qualities. However, Martin begins pushing Luke to his breaking point, and it’s closer than he anticipates.
