When his father returned just before the Homecoming game, Kayden was informed his father’s mission had failed. Regardless, they continued with their assault on the dance, once again unsuccessful. With the pact back on, Kayden is patiently awaiting his father’s next orders. As Mr. Holmes continues his search, Kayden is to remain “loyal” to the treaty. In the meantime, Kayden has begun training Julie Bennett, who has fully regained her memory about her Slayer past. He is trying to patch up his relationships at Parkers Canyon High, insisting he was only doing as he was told, which soon leads him into a moral panic as he tries to decide who he truly is.

In Season 3, it is revealed that Kayden left Parkers Canyon behind after killing his own father.
